What is in store for you this year and how should you properly navigate your life and your business for 2010?

In 2010, there is a clash of elements as it is a Metal year and the Tiger is a wood animal.  This creates problems because metal chops or destroys wood.  Therefore, there could be continued conflicts in the world.  Metal is the element for war and technology, so we may see advancement of both.  However, Tiger grants prosperity through leadership, mental clarity and courage.  It is very important this year to work hard at planting seeds for future growth.  If you do, you will get ahead in 2010. FENG SHUI SOLUTIONS

The ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui has been alive for over 4,000 years. It is one of the 8 rays of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  It is the study of heaven and earth in relation to humans and all living things.  The Chinese refer to this as the “San Cai” or the Three Gifts.   It is the meeting of the visible, invisible and vibrational worlds together to achieve harmony and balance.

Feng Shui, pronounced “fung shway,” literally translated means “wind and water”. It is the visible and invisible energy patterns or “Chi” within a home, office or landscape that effects the environment where we live and work.  This “Chi” effects us energetically on all levels of our existence, ie…physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.  If we are not living in homes or working in offices that are in harmony and nurture us then on an energetic level it is effecting every aspect of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels of our world.

Everything is energy that exists in the physical world and when that external energy effects our internal energy systems resulting in resistence and negativity then what can happen is disease, financial crisis, discordant relationships, and more.  That is where Feng Shui can help you achieve harmony and balance leading to abundance and prosperity.

Feng Shui is sometimes referred to as “acupuncture for the home”. As a practitioner of acupuncture or acupressure would diagnose the blocked energy pathways within the meridians of the human body and try to unblock these pathways with certain pressure points or needles, so a Feng Shui practitioner looks for blockages within the pathways of the home or environment. These specific points are targeted with Feng Shui adjustments and/or cures and the blocked area changes its energy patterns and a shift occurs in that space.

In addition to working on the external environment, the tool known as the Four Pillars of Destiny Chinese Astrology or Bazi looks at the Cosmology that effects the person’s destiny and as it relates to the home or office.  This is based on the natural law of the five elements which consist of fire, earth, metal, water, and wood.  It takes into consideration the occupant’s date, time and place of birth to determine auspicious and inauspicious areas of the home, office or landscape.  The Bazi method, also known as Compass school, can be applied to the home, office or landscape as well as the individual to determine their destiny and energy cycles of their life.  Therefore, being forewarned about this, a person can prepare for whatever may come their way.
